Closing Shift Roblox Elevator Code: How to Find It

Closing Shift Roblox elevator code: find note scraps, read the CODE HUD, use the basement keypad, and call the elevator without guessing a fixed answer.

How do you get the four-digit elevator code in Closing Shift Roblox?

Pick up note scraps as you search. Each scrap names which slot its digit belongs in. The HUD CODE line fills in what you have found and leaves blanks for missing positions. When you have all four digits and four exit keys, enter the number at the exit control keypad beside the basement service hatch, then press CALL.

The developer never publishes the answer on the store page. You assemble it inside the run.

Elevator puzzle vs. promo codes

Term Meaning Where you use it
Elevator code Puzzle rebuilt from in-run notes Basement exit control keypad beside the service hatch (per player guides)
Roblox promo code Optional marketing string for currencies or boosts A separate menu if the developer adds codes; see codes status

Dedicated fan wikis and our codes page both stress that the elevator digits are not redeem strings.

What player sources agree on

  1. Notes name positions. Scraps say which digit they are (first, second, and so on), not just the number in isolation. Most walkthroughs say to record position and value while looting containers.
  2. The HUD tracks progress. The CODE line shows digits you have collected and underscores or gaps for slots still missing.
  3. The keypad responds. Wrong tries return failure feedback; a correct entry exposes the call button, per recorded runs.

Step-by-step method you can repeat every night

  1. Loot while hunting keys. Notes turn up in the same container sweep as exit keys.
  2. Write digits by position, not pickup order. A scrap labeled “fourth digit” belongs in the fourth slot even if you found it first.
  3. Watch the CODE line. Blanks mean you still need another scrap or a careful keypad test.
  4. Finish keys before you commit. Deadbolts can stay engaged when keys are missing, even if the digits are right.
  5. Return to the basement terminal next to the service hatch.
  6. Enter four digits. If one slot never got a scrap, player accounts describe testing combinations that keep known digits in place.
  7. Press CALL when the panel allows it. Recorded runs quote on-screen text such as the elevator being on its way.
  8. Ride the elevator to earn CLOSING TIME (86,264 awards as of 8 Nov 2026).

BY THE BOOK badge

Roblox defines BY THE BOOK as “Find a key and a code scrap yourself, then ride out - all in one night.” (34,871 awards as of 8 Nov 2026.) You must pick up at least one key and one scrap yourself that night, not only ride out with teammates’ loot.

What we could not confirm

  • Whether digits change every night. The developer text promises a “different night every day,” which may move scrap locations, but we found no second source that says the number always rotates or always stays the same.
  • A guaranteed partial HUD pattern. Treat whatever your CODE line shows as truth for your session only.

After the elevator answers

Some player write-ups add a chained front door step with a remaining key after the ride. See full walkthrough for that optional finale.

FAQ

Is the elevator code the same as a Roblox redeem code?
No. Redeem codes grant promo rewards and are tracked on our codes status page. The elevator code exists only inside a night.
Where do the digits come from?
Paper notes in the restaurant. Player write-ups say each scrap names which position it fills (first digit, third digit, and so on).
What if one digit is missing?
Player accounts describe trying remaining combinations at the keypad after the HUD shows blanks. That is a fallback, not proof the puzzle is always the same.
Does the code change every night?
We cannot confirm either way. The developer promises a different night daily, but nothing we checked defines how that affects the digits. Treat every run as unique until you read your scraps.
Can I call the elevator before finding all four keys?
Player reports say a correct code still leaves deadbolts engaged if exit keys are missing. Gather keys first (/guides/four-keys-locations/).
